Aliza Guillory

Lake Charles-Aliza Guillory, 85, entered into eternal rest Sunday, March 22, 2015 surrounded by her loving family. Aliza was born on February 25, 1930 in LeBeau, Louisiana to the late Rodney and Beatrice LaBrie Goodeau. She was a graduate Immaculate Conception High School in LeBeau and a member of Immaculate Heart Catholic Church. Ms. Aliza was a member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church and enjoyed quilting, and cooking for her family. She is survived by her sons, John Guillory (Connie), Donald Wayne Guillory and Gregory Shane Guillory, all of Lake Charles; brothers, Rodney, Jim and Charles Goodeau, sister, Jenetha Doucet, all of California; 8 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Ms. Aliza is preceded in death by her husband, Kelvin Guillory; 6 sisters and 1 brother. A Mass of Christian burial will be in Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church on Saturday, March 28, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. with the Very Rev. Marcus Johnson, V. F. officiating. Burial will follow in Combre Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Johnson & Brown Funeral Home. Visitation will be in Johnson & Brown Funeral Home on Friday, March 27, 2015 from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. with a rosary at 6:30 p.m. and continue Saturday from 8 a.m. until 9:45 a.m. in the funeral home.
