May 11, 1945 - March 19, 2015

Jerry Hacker Lake Charles- Jerry Hacker, 69, passed away in a local care facility Thursday, March 19, 2015. Jerry was born in DeQuincy May 11, 1945. He worked for Turner Industries and attended 1st Apostolic Church in Moss Bluff. Fishing was his favorite pastime. Jerry is survived by his daughter, Amanda Hacker of Lake Charles; siblings, Alvin Midkiff (Gwen) of Moss Bluff and Debbie Cooper (Darrell) of DeQuincy and the mother of his daughter, Freda Hacker. Preceding him in death were his parents; siblings, Milton Midkiff, Susan Midkiff Edwards, Rita Langley and Frances Hall. Funeral services are Sunday, March 22, 2015 at 2 p.m. in Johnson & Brown Funeral Home with the Rev. Jon C. Hair officiating. Burial will follow in Consolata Cemetery under the direction of Johnson & Brown Funeral Home. Visitation is Sunday from 10 a.m. until the time of service.
