Landry Gene Bordelon

September 30, 1948 - February 12, 2020

Sulphur – Landry Gene Bordelon, born in Alexandria on September 30, 1948, passed away Wednesday, February 12, 2020 in a local care facility at the age of 71. Landry served in the United States Army and worked as a security guard for Weiser. He loved watching football, especially McNeese, LSU and the New Orleans Saints. He is survived by his loving and faithful companion of 40 years, Linda Benoit; her son, Ken Benoit. Landry is preceded in death by his parents. Funeral services are Friday, February 14, 2020 at 1 p.m. in Johnson & Brown Funeral Home of Iowa with Rev. Roland Vaughn officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Memory Gardens with military honors under the direction of Johnson & Brown Funeral Home of Iowa. Visitation begins Friday at 9 a.m. and will continue until the time of service at 1 p.m.
