Kelli Brown Johnson, Owner / Funeral Director & Pre-need Specialist
Kelli is a licensed pre-need specialist and funeral director with the State of Louisiana. She is also a Grief Recovery Method Specialist. She is a graduate of the Dallas Institute of Funeral Service in Dallas, Texas.
In her spare time, Kelli enjoys traveling and spending time with her family and friends. -
Joe Johnson Sr., Owner
Joe Johnson, Sr., was born in Jennings, Louisiana and moved with his family to Lake Charles, Louisiana at the age of 12. Joe is a graduate of LaGrange Senior High and a 1990 graduate of the Dallas Institute of Funeral Service in Dallas, Texas. He became a licensed Embalmer and Funeral Director in 1991.
Joe and his wife, Kelli Brown Johnson, live in Iowa, Louisiana and are active members in their community. -
Wendy Ducat LeDoux, Manager
Born in Lake Charles and raised in LeBleu Settlement, Wendy is a graduate of Iowa High School and Commonwealth Institute of Funeral Services. She is married to Timothy LeDoux, and they have seven children and eight grandchildren. Wendy is a licensed pre-need specialist and funeral director with the State of Louisiana.
In her free time, Wendy enjoys raising chickens and spending time with family and friends. -
Vickie Melanson, Funeral Assistant
Born in Jennings and raised in Woodlawn, Vickie graduated from Lacassine H.S. and McNeese State University. She worked as an elementary school teacher and after retirement began working at St. Raphael Catholic Church as the administrative assistant. Vickie has been with Johnson & Brown Funeral Home since January 4, 2021, where she serves as funeral assistant.
She was married to the late Johnny Melanson and has three children and their spouses, and eight grandchildren. In her spare time, she loves to travel and spend time with her grand-children, nieces, nephews, and playing Po-Ke-No. Vickie is involved with many organizations at St. Raphael Catholic Church. -
Troy E. Courville, Funeral Director and Embalmer
Troy E. Courville was born in Creole and raised in Lake Charles. A graduate of Barbe High School, class of 1984, Troy graduated from McNeese State University in Mortuary Science in 1988. He has worked in funeral service for 36 years. He is married to Vanessa L. Derouen Courville and they have two children, Zac Courville and wife, Madelyn Crador Courville and Brandy Lynn Bergeron and husband, Brennon, both of Iowa, Louisiana.
He is a proud member of the Cameron Grave Recovery Team for Hurricane Rita. In his spare time, Troy enjoys hunting and spending time with his family. -
